Congratulations to Clwb Syrffio members Osian Coyle and Gwion Brown who both did amazingly well in the North Wales Open Surf Competition at Porth Ceiriad earlier today.

In some solid surf, Osian narrowly missed out on a place in the final in the mens competition but surfing against many older and more experienced competitors did an amazing job to reach the semi-finals. Gwion also had a great competition and was runner up in the Junior category.

Great to see club members doing so well in their first competition and hopefully what will be the first of many events for them and other club surfers. Both Gwion and Osian have been spending recent club sessions coaching younger members during the first hour and then working on their own skills in the second hour. It's great to see their hard work paying off and that they are also passing on skills to others. Well done lads!
